Import:

At first, you have to import all pictures. In this step the program writes the database (properties, EXIF) and converts the thumbnail.
Are the pictures on CD you can import the pictures with the menu "Import from CD". You have to give the CD a name. If you like to view the pictures, you have to insert the CD (the program show you the name you typed in).

You can allocate audio files to pictures automaticly if the filename is the same (option parameter).

To import movies it's the same way as pictures.

Categories:

A picture can be associated with more than one category.

For example: 100 pictures of your last trip to England. 60 are quite good or excellent. 10 pictures of churches, 5 pictures of sundown and 10 pictures showing Marcus.

• Insert the category "England"
• Add a description of your trip in the tab page "Category description", e.g. the date, the route, ...
• Allocate all pictures to the category "England".
• Assign the 60 good pictures to the category "Favoriten", too.
• Additionally you can add the pictures to the category "Church" and "Sundown".
• Under "Persons" you can add the category "Marcus" and allocate the pictures showing him.

Search and view the pictures:

After the classification is done, you can search and view your pictures.

View the pictures of your trip: Select the category "England".
View the pictures for a presentation: Select the category "England" and "Favorite". Use the "AND" search button!
Show pictures of Marcus, too: Select the category "Marcus". You'll see all pictures of Marcus .

You can search for sundown or churches, too. It is possible to search for a combination for example. pictures of a sundown showing Marcus.

If you switch to "OR" search you can view all pictures of sundown and churches.

If you like to search for an Info or Title you have to use the SQL-Search.

Edit pictures:

In the original view you can open the picture with F12. The picture will be opened with the allocated program to the extention JPG (see your Windows settings).
After you've saved the picture you have to allocate it again with the menu "Allocate photo again". This function of the program updates the properties in the database and rebuilds the thumbnail.
